Mechanical Engineer

About the Mechanical Engineer Opportunity:
You will be responsible for the complete performance of mechanical engineering tasks by designing and drafting; performing HVAC load calculations; sizing equipment, ductwork, and piping; and performing computer economic analysis of alternate HVAC systems for state of the art buildings.
You will be responsible for the complete performance of construction administration tasks by processing drawings and RFI's, and conducting site visits during the construction phase.
You will be responsible for coordinating efforts between disciplines and working as a team player.
Reports to a Senior Engineer and work with other project engineers
Mechanical Engineer Job Requirements:
Ideal candidates will possess a BSME or BSAE (with mechanical specialty) from an ABET accredited engineering program
EI certification
A minimum of 2 years experience in the engineering and design of mechanical (HVAC) systems for commercial, institutional, governmental, and healthcare facilities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for success in this role
Candidates must have solid AutoCAD skills and those with REVIT experience will be given preference
