Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers - Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections - Maintain a clean and organized bar area - Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol - Adhere to all relevant food safety regulations and guidelines - Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately - Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service - Monitor customer behavior and intervene as necessary to prevent overconsumption or disruptive behavior Skills:
- Strong knowledge of basic math for calculating drink prices and making change - Excellent hospitality skills, with the ability to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for customers - Proficient in bartending techniques, including mixing cocktails, pouring beer, and serving wine - Solid understanding of math principles for measuring ingredients and calculating drink ratios - Familiarity with brewing processes and different types of alcoholic beverages - Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems for order entry and payment processing - Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to anticipate customer needs and provide personalized recommendations - Basic understanding of retail math for inventory management and pricing strategies - Strong sales skills to upsell drinks, promote specials, and increase revenue Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and skills.
