Waterjet Operator JOB SUMMARY The Waterjet Operator is responsible for running the waterjet in the Diamondback Marine shop.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIUREMENTS Experience with hand tools and power tools Must be able to lift 50 lbs PREFERRED SKILLS Prior experience with waterjet in a mass production environment Able to carry out instructions given in written, oral, or diagram form Ability to work with a high attention to detail Ability to work safely in a variety of situations, follow rules, and established processes Works well in a team environment Good communication skills A good attitude along with a desire to work in a team environment CORE DUTIES Set-up of water jet machine Make mechanical and/or program adjustments to ensure parts are meeting quality requirements, free of defects Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by complying with organization standards and legal regulations Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions Grind, file, or sand surfaces of metal items, utilizing a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machines after running parts through the water jet Other duties as assigned HOURS 1st shift position Monday through Thursday, 6:

Friday- overtime as needed SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen.
Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
